Wuhan Lensphoto Software Limited Company was established at September, 2002. The object of company product exploitation is the application of digital photogrammetry in close-range and engineering measurement.Associating with the School of Romote Sensing Information and Engineering Wuhan University (the former Wuhan Technical University of Surveying and Mapping),the company established the Research Center of Digital Photogrammetry and Computer Vision.With the direct participation of the expert in photogrammetry----Academician Zuxun Zhang of Chinese Engineering Academy and under the leadship of him, after 4 years’ single-minded diligently struggles and explorations,the group of Company broke through the technological problems successfully,found the new principle of digital close-range photogrammetry and exploited the product with independent core technology----Multi-baseline Digital Close-range Photogrammetry Software (Lensphoto).It made the close-range photogrammetry technology had a qualitative leap.

Lensphoto has achieved the production and is starting to put in the domestic market at October, 2006. By now it already has had the large-scale customers over 20 units! They include the Yangtse River Committee Spatial Information Company, Survey Center of Three Gorges Company,Yangtse River Aerial Survey Center and East China Hydropower Investigation and Design Research Institute.the west China Hydropower Investigation and Design Research Institute ect…It has made a significant influence on the solving of hard-survey problems and work efficiency's improving.
